A former grocery store was transformed into an early childhood learning facility for pre-school children and support for their families. The facility includes kindergarten classrooms, a parent resource library, full kitchen, meeting rooms, indoor play areas, covered and open outdoor play environments with a tricycle path, sand play area and special climbing structures designed for small children. The Center is the result of a unique cooperative effort between State and County service providers and is the first of its kind in Oregon bringing together services from Clackamas County Head Start, Healthy Start, ESD, Human Services, Mental Heath Services, Clackamas Community College and the State of Oregon Department of Human Services.

Lun Chau President / MLC Engineering LLC View MoreWe’ve worked with Brockamp & Jaeger on several school projects in the Gladstone School District and impressed with the heart in their performance. It was a pleasure to work with a firm that takes pride in the work and nice to work with. Brockamp & Jaeger was the general contractor for three school projects, including John Wetten Elementary School Classroom Renovations, Gladstone Center for Children & Families, and Gladstone High School Additions & Renovations. They coordinated well with the design team, owner and subcontractors on these projects. They also coordinated well with the authorities having jurisdiction obtaining multiple partial occupancies due to the phasing of construction since the schools were occupied during the entire project. All of the projects were completed in great detail and on schedule. I would recommend Brockamp & Jaeger for any work where you want attention to detail, project completion on schedule and especially a great working relationship.
